Location & Parking

We are located on the corner of 2nd Ave and 25th Street, across from Qdoba (yum!) and caddy-corner to Walgreens. Parking can be slim during the week, but the side of building has the most parking (facing East). Otherwise, you can park past Midas and walk down the ally to our building. Check out the map (specifically in the yellow areas) for details!

You can enter St. James Square from the front or back doors— we are on the second level in Suite B3. Look for our sign!

 FAQs

  • Creatives and non-creatives and everyone in-between! The studio is a great place for photographers and videographers who need a space to shoot. Yoga instructors and pilates are also welcome! As we have a shared place, dance classes or anything with lots of jumps will not work well here. The LightBox is also available to rent for small events under fifty people: baby showers, bridal parties getting ready, you name it!

  • Once you book The LightBox, you will receive email communication with information on how to unlock our building. The building is secured by an outside door lock and our own personal door is locked as well.

  • The best way to book The LightBox is through this website; scroll to the top and click on “Book The LightBox” to be lead to our schedule. There you can see our availability and find the best time for you! You can also book by calling either Brooke (308-650-1770) or Kenzie (308-548-8122) or emailing us at thelightboxkearney@gmail.com. Then we can get you taken care of!

  • Your booking time should include time not only to have your event or session, but also for set-up and teardown. You will be charged an additional hour if you go beyond your booking time and are in the studio beyond five minutes after your scheduled time.

  • When you rent The LightBox, you have access to any props in the studio, the coffee bar, speaker system, and small dressing room. Feel free to help yourself to the treats in the mini fridge! You are welcome to use the desk space, however, we ask that you do not use the personal computers, drives, or other technology that belong to us.
